This Week at Mayflower

 1.  Current Parents:  Time to Re-enroll!  Deadline for re-enrollment is Friday, January 30, 2015. Tuition assistance applications are available here.  More Tuition Assistance information here.

2.  Parent Hour on Friday, Jan 23rd, 8:30-9:30 AM

Join Toddler Community Guide Laura Fritz in the PRC for a cozy hour getting to know her and her magic skills with toddlers.  Actually, there is nothing "magic" about fostering independence in the human being, but she certainly can give you tips from her wonderful experiences with a high concentration of little human beings trying to be just that:  "I wanna do it!"

3. NEXT BOOK CLUB MEETING: Friday, Jan 30th, 8:30am

Free-Range Kids: How to Raise Self-Reliant Children (Without Going Nuts with Worry) by Lenore Skenazy
Remember, you need not have read the whole book to join our groups.  We are excited about this one.  Get your hands on a copy before the end of the month! Look for a few copies in the PRC.

4. Mark your calendar for How Sweet It Is - Saturday, March 21st.  Mayflower's annual fundraiser is an evening of sweets (baked by you!), walls of wine (donated by you!), raffles, auctions and more!

There are several ways to get involved this year:

* Volunteer on a planning committee

* Help on the evening of the event

* Donate an item for the raffle or silent auction

* Attend!

5.  We need auction and raffle items!  Do you have season tickets to a sporting event or theater seats?  Would you be willing to donate one game or show?  How about a summer cabin with an open weekend?  Do you have a business, hobby or talent (of course you do!)... Photography? Personal training? Graphic design? Snow removal? Household repair?  Or maybe you have a friend, family member or neighbor that does?  Please consider donating your time or services to a great cause!

Please contact any of the co-chairs for more info and to get involved in any way:
